Not exactly playing at 100%

Hey Guys,

Late night post after a late night session. I was at the library a bunch earlier but I finished my Finance so I let myself play a few hours. I feel like I'm doing alright at 2/4 and I might just be a little anxious about winning pots but I think overall I could be playing better. I'll post a few hands here and I probably need some feedback but since I left 2p2 I'll leave it up to the 4 people (including myself) who frequent here. Hope these spots are actually interesting because they felt really iffy in game and I think I'm just making too many assumptions without further reads.

Here I was sitting against a known fish but I'm not yet sure if he's the nitty live player fish or the stupid cocky fish. Either way I've seen him overbet once already in the past 20 hands or so and I just kinda decided to hero it up since my hand feels like the nuts against a variety of possible gutters and three-pair hands that I beat. That combined with the pot/pot line made me think he was FOS but oh well I guess, maybe it's not bad.

Here I get my 3bet cold called by a guy who's running some pretty nitty stats (16/5 or whereabouts). I don't see much reason to cbet the flop, but once we get to the turn I think I take a hand that has some pretty marginal showdown value and turn it into a bluff against a range I felt included a lot of 88/99/JJ type hands. In game I thought this type of player would usually lead an ace or a set on the turn if he actually had it, but I'm obviously at least somewhat wrong there. I think my bluff works basically 100% of the time he has the hands I expected him to, but I made some bad assumptions preflop about his ranges because I discounted AJ-AK too much.

Here I just make a really bad calldown against a regfish, this river bet size is like never ever a bluff but I talked myself into it for sure.

My river call here is awful, that is all. There were two more hands where I ran a bet/check/bet line on perfect river bluff cards and got snappped off by 3rd pair in both cases. Good job picking the right people to bluff imo.

Hope everyone's playing better than me, but somehow I won $150 today so it's all good. Goodnight guys

Kevin
